Just announced - Regina to Host 2022-2023 Skate Canada Challenge – Pre-Novice/Novice
OTTAWA, ON (August 30, 2022) – Skate Canada is pleased to announce that the 2022-2023 Skate Canada Challenge for pre-novice and novice skaters will be held at Evraz Place in Regina, Saskatchewan from January 25-28, 2023. The domestic competition will be hosted as two separate events for the first time this season, with the 2022-2023 Skate Canada Challenge – Junior/Senior taking place at Seven Oaks Arena at Garden City Community Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba from November 30 to December 3, 2022.
Skaters from coast-to-coast will qualify through their respective sectional championships, where novice athletes will be looking to secure their spot at the 2023 Novice Canadian Championships in late February. The event will also see the crowning of the Pre-Novice National Champions in men, women, pair and ice dance.
