Diverse Leaders in Skating Mentorship Pilot Program (2021/22) Open Call from Mentors
Skate Canada is pleased to announce the “Diverse Leaders in Skating” Mentorship Pilot Program. The pilot program aims to encourage greater participation as program assistants, coaches, and officials by those who self-identify as Indigenous, Black, or a Person of Colour, or as members of other under-represented groups. The program will:
(a) promote understanding of leadership pathways through workshops and opportunities for relationship building with mentors
(b) support individuals from under-represented groups in their pursuit of training as coaches or officials.
