Clarification on Restrictions Update

I have just spoken with the Business Response Team and have learned the following:

• Program Assistants would be considered as coach/trainers and therefore not included in the eight (8) on the ice.
• Parents participating in the a Parent & Tot or Pre-CanSkate program would be considered a participant and therefore counted as part of the eight (8) on the ice.

As per the Public Health Order issued on November 26th, 2020

• Athletes and dancers 18 years of age and under may continue practicing, conditioning and skills training in groups of eight or fewer, abiding by the required mask use and at least three metres of physical distancing between participants at all times.

This means AdultSkate and Adult SynchroSkate programming must be paused until December 17th, 2020.
